AFG...when I saw Heavens' Gate on my Blackberry Curve, I nearly fell off my seat. What amazes me is I have a rough sketch that eerily resemblance your image, and I did that several months ago. In fact, Welshblue and I had a private conversation about it some time ago, and I never got around to it. Maybe after getting satisfactory feedback on my latest piece, I might tackle it.

Heaven Gate, is amazing, a lot of work in it, I really like serious artworks and can see the efforts the artist puts in his/her work, I each time see your images are so complete and never cheat or hide the weakness in their elements, so clean and strong lines, I love the dove and her 2 ghosts, but I can't see the gate, but can feel it through the idea, and the blue columns are lifting the heavy ceiling, same color as the Cross, wonderful explanation, great work.

@ Chad : thanks mate, ive only been using pdn for around 4 months now so ive still alot to learn about its capabilities :)

@ Lance :  what is even stranger is this is a reworking of a canvas i submitted some 30yrs ago for my final art exam at high school, it caused quite a stir back then as it was not the normal apples and oranges in a fruit bowl still life they had come to expect  and i still think they flipped a coin to decide whether to give me a pass or send me for therapy

@ Sargon : i try to create art in pdn in the same manner and style i would on canvas, one of the main reasons i began using pdn is part of the requirements for entrance to University next year (at the ripe old age of 48 im heading to Uni) is an art portfolio which includes digital art, although at present im undecided whether to do a degree in digital art or web development & design, the heart tells me art the head tells me web development :? :)

@ barbieq25 : thanks , it kind of fits my mood at the moment :)

Heaven's gate is  ... Surreal, and very spooky with those hands in that front orb, excellent dove.
The pink ffloyd one looks great too, I never got the band but I dig that image.
Great colours ... and I'm seeing your landscapes in a new light, on my old monitor I didn't realise Solitude had water in front

AFG, I picked that up re the mood.

If the teachers thought you needed therapy, then the art must have been awesome!

I started uni at 40. I loved it & guess I still miss the study. (I know - sad I am  ). I am a teacher & a student of life long learning.

Bit of a quandry which to choose. Perhaps this is reflected in your art? In any case, your art is awesome.

@ Welsh :  my art and the band have that in common (lots of people dont get either of them)

@ barbieq25 : what was even funnier was i attended a high school reunion some years later and the canvas had been hung in the entrace hall, there were lots of people making weird and wonderful comments about the artist, concept, state of mind etc with me joining in but never letting them know i was that artist

@ Nemo : thanks mate :)

Wow! The abstract is so...so...so...gosh, I can't find the right word. It's so amazing! It reminds me of Escher especially the spheres. The space flowers are spectacular. Nice job!

Excellent glass abstract! Really good.
A bit of S3D use there for the flowers I see. Magnificent colours. It`s fairly straightforward but the pattern and colours elevate it to another level!

Glass Life, is amazing, those glass blocks are great, I feel that you create all the form just one simple cell unit...? But with a lot of work. I love it well well done, and very good glass impression.
