Looks like I'm playing catch up after a week of just lurking... The latest piece has me wondering...is it good/evil, light/darkness, or a battle of the soul within as we all struggle against being good against being evil? The latest piece has me thinking what it could possibly mean, and the best part...it is a WIP! Can't wait to see how you will finalize it.

All this and in progress  ?, don't put so much pressure on PDN  , you got me on this, I can't see where the beginning is, I am lost  , the left end is locked, I attempted to bring the stereoscope, but then realized that I don't need it, the depth is strong enough and could takes you to no where, amazing piece, is that your hand?

A Fragile Mind : a quick explanation The background is representative of our mind/brain the left side and right side it also shows the paths we choose to follow... The orbs are abstract eyes (the gateway to our soul) The lack of colour is to show life is shades of grey not black or white and depending how we choose to see it, left side steel and robotic with the door shut... right side, less defined with a door open to new ideas and ways of thinking... add Lance's comment and a whole lot more and you have the ideals behind the work... @ Welsh : including merged layers (creating the background) and work created for the overall picture about 65 maybe more so far, at the moment there are 35 in the WIP @ Sargon : yes it is, i would love to create a pure S3D hand, having visited MKT's site i think it is very possible...the fingers and nails are easily (with patience) achieved Jewel Box created this to give myself a break from Fragile Mind

I didn't comment on your Jewel Box. I saw it earlier and I didn't have a chance to comment. I absolutely, totally love it. It looks spacious, you know what I mean? And it looks so brilliantly shiny. It's incredible!

Thanks everyone for the feedback @Goonfella: it was used but not to achieve the pattern lefthand side of A Fragile Mind is almost complete, it now includes a portrait, would like to get the iris looking more like there is a nuclear explosion happening
