This piece is superb and incredible. It's mesmerizing to look at. It kind of reminds me of Celtic art for some reason. I love the metallic texture for this piece and the title fits perfectly. Cool! 8)

Chromium is a great piece, as AFG says, very thought/ mind run riot provoking.
I guess you could turn that into lots of things, jewellery wise ?

The giraffe piece ... between writing this and looking @ it, I've forgotten what it's called :?
Anyways, whatever - I love this piece. The colours and the whole composition is great. An African safari is one of the things I want to do before I pop off this mortal coil but know I won't ... this is the next best thing

I've had another look through all your work and the only thing that lets it down is that wooden frame I gave you ... there's some dodgy mitreing in that

Safari...it is not the browser Apple owns, but the hunt that G'fella went on. Outstanding execution, especially since you used custom brushes to create the shapes, and shilitutoe it. Can't spell that word! :?

Your abstract has me wondering...what mood are you in? The color is dark, glassy, and somewhat shattered. I know your mum died recently, so I'm wondering if you are feeling a little bluish. Either way, glad to see you are still at work.

Thanks for all the nice comments and ideas.

Helen - You could have a point there about the Celtic art. I think mesmerizing is a spot on description.

Afg - It surprised me as well when it sort of popped out. You know - the way an image seems to be going nowhere then you try something and it changes the feel of the image completely. I don`t do many abstracts so I`m quite chuffed with this one. :D

Welshy - How could your mind be any more riotous than it already is!
Nice idea about the jewellery.
btw - the giraffy piece was originally called Nature`s Sunshine ,but Lance posted before I finished this and called it Safari - which is much nicer so Safari it is.Thanks Lance

Lance - I`m feeling fine.Obviously things will never be the same without her but life goes on I guess. In fact I`ve created more images over the last couple of weeks than I have in a long time. Thanks very much for asking though. Much appreciated.
As for the colours , there`s no real reason apart from the fact that I liked them. I toyed with gold for a while but it didn`t really work so I chose these . :D

btw - it`s Silhouette! You want to be careful hoe you spell that.

Bbq - thanks , glad you like it.

Yeah, and you might want to be careful of how you spell, "how," someone might think you would be calling me a *censored.*

 Lance

Chromium, is fantastic, I am just wondering how was it the image that you created and applied the Kaleidoscope on it...!
Is this Kaleidoscope have a ring shape ( a big opening in the center) and you added that Glassy background behind? Cause the center element has less pieces that the around one.

I can`t believe what I`ve done. I had a mad moment and cleared out a load of PDN files and the one for Chromium was one of them!
It might look like there are less pieces in the middle but I think thats just because of the way I distorted the background. I also duplicated and rotated it a bit before doing some more distorting. I know I used Droste and Twist . My memory is useless. I can`t remember much more than that, which is why I can`t believe I did what I did! Sorry Sargon. :?

I just get set to comment on one or two items and lo and behold I log in here and everyone is outdoing themselves producing better and better pictures. That latest abstract is wonderful. I see drost (invert is on and slider over) kaldescope for sure.

Sorry i haven't had time to comment on your new abstract, but here is a little comment and critique. The abstract has a beautiful flow and excellent choice of colors. Only thing that i can see wrong is that you could possibly feather the foreground part of the abstract. Other than that is very nice.

Agreed. Unfortunately I no longer have the PDN file so I can`t make any more changes. What a Wally!
