At first I was intending to do this tut right through but in the end I only used the castle and the background. The rest is PDN with the odd cloud brush and star thrown in. http://www.psdvault.com/photo-effect/aw ... photoshop/ And yes Afg that is Edinburgh Castle. Well done.  Thanks for the compliment Helen . It`s just a bit of fiddling with curves, colour balance and blending modes. Anyone could do it.

That's a great atmospheric piece. Bright colours but subtle really works. You're real good @ these manips' mate.
Have you tried out APShredders Blend Mode Plug-In yet ?

I'm glad that you decided to create your own fantasy castle rather than to follow the tutorial to the letter. Excellent job. Now if only I will work on my own projects...what a prognosticator I am!

Thanks Bbq Lance - I try to just use tuts as a guide. Sometimes my way works out,sometimes it doesn`t and I follow through with the tut. This one came out nicely I think.

Very nice work, I like your sky more than that in the tutorial, I like to do these kind of tutorial but the stock images stop me, but you did an excellent job, I love it.

It`s actually the bottle of wine from my gallery, the flowers too. I briefly tried a lawn but it wasn`t the best lawn in the world so I left it out. This was never a serious piece anyway .I suppose I could put a bit more into it though. I`ve thought of adding a path, a fence and a few plants as well . It`s on my WIP list so I might gradually add things if I`m in the mood. I actually got the idea from here - http://psd.tutsplus.com/tutorials/icon- ... photoshop/
