This Tutorial will teach you how to make this image
Image

1] New image

2] Radial Gradient, center to edge. (mine was slightly off center, play around for best effect)
Image

3] Curves+ Luminosity
Image
Image

4] Clouds- Scale = 204; Roughness = 61; Blend Mode = Color Burn
Image
5] Duplicate Layer

6] Zoom Blur Deluxe Amount = 6th mark from the left; Location = default; Quality = High
Image

7] Top layer: Blend Mode = Negation
Image

8] Merge Layers

9] Color with Curves+
Image

10] Duplicate Layer

11] Top Layer- Distort- Twist = 26
Image

12] Bottom Layer- Distort- Twist = -26

13] Top Layer- Blend Mode = Lighten

14] Flatten & you are Done!!

To Drakaan: I know this isn't exactly the "Gathering Storm" tutorial you wanted, but for the life of me I can't figure out how I made that darned image.

Most of my abstracts are 50+ steps long but this one looked nice enough and short enough to be a good tutorial.

Thank you :D This tutorial has many of the basic steps I do, like bluring and layer blend modes, just play around and see what you come up with! :D
