As I suggested earlier - why not make it a challenge? Edit - I`ve tried to make two now but I find that the problem is when the image is downsized to favicon size a lot of the detail is lost. It seems that the best way to create these would be to use something like Inkscape , which is a vector drawing program and would not lose detail from an image whether sized up or down. PDN, I`m afraid , doesn`t seem suitable for these things. Unless someone has an idea to make this work? I`d rather make them with PDN if possible .

What is a favicon? I know it sounds like a silly question.

Nop it is not a silly question, but it is a good question, the Favicon is a very small image heading the name of the website in the Favorite/Bookmarks list, if you have bookmarked some site in your browser check them, you will some of them have that tiny image( icon) before the name of the site, and this image will appear also in Address bar in the browser. So because some people they have many many bookmarks, and they want some of them shown every time in the bookmarks tool bar, but because of lack of space in the tool bar, they hide the name of the bookmark and put just the Favicon, so the favicon should be contain some thing from the site to remember it, or just moving the mouse over will tell the name, that is what I know about it, there is may be some other benefits from it, but I am using it mainly for this purpose. But some sites they don't have that icon, so you can't tell which site is because all they have same icon. See this image they are in the red rectangles up and side:

Since the majority of all favicons are 16x16 px, you can try just starting with that size and work from there. I did (using PDN of course lol) and it worked fine. What about trying a little mini version of that 'Red Orb' in your logo? Or even have the letters "PDNF" inside the red orb somehow? I'm just throwing out some ideas. lol

Now I understand. Yes I have those & I am in favour of having one. Thanks for the insight, Sargon. I tell my students not to be afraid to ask as stupid question since they are much easier to fix than a stupid mistake.
I agree a challenge would be good for this, keeping in mind too the small size & the tech difficulties this presents.

Try starting at integer multiples of 16: 32, 48, 64... etc. This might yield better results when resized.

I'll like to post a request for an anchor tag to be added. I plan to take full advantage of that if we had the anchor tag implemented. Any chance of that happening soon?

Seem a little redunant, but I'm happy to know that I'll be able to create a mini-web page within my gallery. Thanks.
I do have a question, I have seen users on the main board using a title on the hide option where it'll tell you what the hidden contents are before you click on "show." How is this acheived?

I know it's a bit redundant, but there is not really any other way I can do it using the freeforums limitations. As to your other question: Code: [hide=Title] Hidden stuff [/hide]
- Title | Show
- Hidden stuff
lots of hidden stuff
