@AFG - Thanks & I agree on the idea of the night scene. Got me thinking about perhaps doing a ghost ship to go with it.

Now that would be magical for sure :)

Very nice concept. I like the glowing ship and overall, the whole image. The water looks so eerily calm and the loch ness looks like it's waiting for prey, perhaps it's why the ship is empty. *shuddering smiley*

Dunno if "she" did but I haven't stopped laughing    Your ex must be sister to my husband's ex

If I could remember how I did the moon reflection it might have been a bit better. The serpent needs more work but the general idea is there. I need to get a bit more proficient with PDN.

I have a question for all of you: How can I make the serpent's shadow/reflection? I used mirror over line for the head section & the coil sections was reflection. It just doesn't seem quite right. Any ideas/suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks for the comments just the same & pleased you all like it so far. Guess it is really a WIP or an idea that will either get expanded & improved or abandoned.

Duplicate the serpent, Layers > flip layer vertical, Gradient > Linear, set gradient to Transparency, start gradient in line with head and draw it downward start with and see what its like then play around with different start points, layer opacity etc till your happy with the result :)

Dont forget to move the duplicate layer to where you want the reflection to start :)

   Those were so funny comments.
Nice Ghost Ship I like the night sense , I can see something in the ship but didn't get what it could be :).

And about your questions, reflection on water?
-just select the part you want to reflect it using rectangle select,
-then on the menu bar click Copy and Paste (do all that on same layer),
-then switch to Move Selection tool and use the upper knob to squash the selection downward, continue and pass over the lower knob to revers (mirrored) the selection and stretch it to the length you need.
-then use Dents with higher stretch option to distort the selection.
-and lower the transparency if it needs or use the transparent Gradient as AFG explained.
If you don't understand it tell me to make a video for this method.

@AFG & Sargon - thanks for the tips. This is basically what I did. Never thought about using the Dents stretch option. Cool! Maybe next time I'll play more with the options.

@Oma, thank you. He was easy to miss. I had to keep moving the screen on the laptop...now I've got a shorter desk & taken the strain off not only my eyes but also from my shoulders. Now I can PDN even more
