 :o What more can you do? Your stuff is amazingly good! I like how the tick mark moves as the image changes; it's very creative. I noticed you don't have an avatar, maybe you can incorporate your sig with your media player. Once again, awesome job!

Just amazing what you have done! Man, I just love it!

Who gives a rat's about normal? Creative & normal very rarely go together. Believe me I know...

 I can see you've been really enjoying that new computor. The new computor seems to have given you an excitement that comes thru in your latest pieces. You are in an artistic growth spurt right now. It is so wonderful to see you progressing from one image to the next. I can not even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the Media Player.

End of days is remarkable, little dark for me to see clearly. so I cheated I saved it to my computor and used brighten and contrast to get some real close look at that tree. exceptional work.

ciao OMA

I'll have to start replying to you nice folks more often ... it'll save me writing an essay when I start :)

@ Helen, thanks; and I've thought of a few ideas to incorporate the media player into my sig ... just got to get it so's it doesn't annoy the heck out of people.
There was scrolling writing too but the timings jumped a bit

@ Goon' ... thanks mate. Animations are fun to make, a bit stressful sometimes trying to get timings right and transparency not looking mottled. I'm sure Sargon' would agree the Benetton is better than unFreez ... ?

@ Barbie' ... thank you. Me and normal definitely don't go hand in hand :P I've always liked being individual ... from clothes to hair ... and now art
Except now I don't have the hair ... I was thinking of a leaping tiger tatoo behind my ear but the wife has put her foot down on that one ... saying I'm too old :(

@ AFG ... thanks mate, not a lot more can be said ... apart from Wales 3 Scotland 0 :P

@ Oma ... thanks :) . What I'm enjoying most about a new computer (apart from a wide screen) is that everything doesn't take an age to render when PDN
has been open a while. Sometimes I lost the flow ... if that makes any sense. I'm a click it and see how it looks pdn'er, hoping to find something interesting at the end. Then spending hours trying to figure out how I did it
I'm glad you enjoyed End of Days, and I thought it may have been a bit dark. The plan is to make a new, proper looking tree ... but we all know how plans can deviate

@ Sargon' ... love the techno music with the animation. I was almost tempted to dig out my whistle and day glo sticks ( not that I ever went to many Raves :o ) This video was the inspiration for the Day Glo abstract I posted on the main board.
What programme do you use to put on audio ? I used to use Nero but I lost the key from my old copy so I can't put it on here.
Thanks for the gift and the feedback

@ Chad ... thanks mate.
A word of advice from someone older ... I've learnt the hard way that hitting things with hammers only does one thing.
... It shrinks your bank balance when you have to replace whatever it is you've trashed. An example is the time I got fed up of trying to start a chainsaw and in a rage of exhaustion, I gave it an almighty fling ... usually they have a nice soft landing on fir branches - this one landed straight on a pointy rock and smashed the starter casing. The original problem was as easy as me not realising the choke lever had come off so it wasn't releasing

So the motto is ... always check for easy solutions before you smash things up :P
I think you've sorted it, yeah ? Is it any good ? Does it drain memory like Vista ?

------------------------------------------

I've just scrolled up ... sorry about the essay :P (And all the smilies ...)

This next piece went a bit wrong, mainly by not naming layers (again !! ) and not realising until it was too late; that I'd merged the wrong things.
I'll post it to justify the hours, files and layers that's gone into it. Hope you's enjoy ...

 :? Poor main board visitors I can barely believe it is unreal how could do they, man that piece is phenomenal, and I like the annotations you put on your photo oops your drawing  , I really don't have words to say, the work is over excellent, I think if you change the" Linear Reflected Gradient & Tile Reflection" to this "Shape 3D & Tile Reflection", will look much better in term of 3D, or you know what just leave it like that for those poor unbelievers there.

And yes mate, Goonfella absolutely, Beneton is much better than Un-freeze, you have tons of features and tools in it, and the time line, that is the most important thing.
I used Beneton for the GIFs, and WMM ( Windows Movie Maker) to add the audio file

Well we must be twins then! I've got hair PURPLE short spiked hair. Hubby got the great idea that purple would show up super with the graveyard blonde bits. OOOH YEAH!

The Boss said what? Too old? Well if ya'd've got it when you was 20 you'd have it now. I bought hubby a T-shirt that says, "I was young once but I can be immature forever." How many times have we seen, "Growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional." I'm taking the optional with gusto!

Hope she'll change her mind. I got my nose pierced when I was 47 & my daughter tried desperately to drag me out of the salon.

:o merging the wrong layers? Writing a whole essay? Yep, we twins!

The Stilsons are fabulous. It is just so good. I love how they are pinned to the board & the descriptions of what you did. Man, I can never remember what I've done. Well done yet again!

yeah windows is alot faster now that i have actually got it to run without blue screening on me lol... i guess thats what i get for early adapting but i am really pleased with it now. The stilson image is absolutely brilliant mate. We call those monkey wrenches where i am from but enough with the semantics. That image is absolutely positively one of the best things i have seen come from paint.net.

I would never have thought of using some of the steps you did there. Really realistic . Well done mate

I applaud your essay, Welshy. It was very informative, witty, and full of punchlines. I love reading your essay, mate.

On-topic, your latest work with tool is absolutely genius. I don't use that word very often, but when I see your work with tools, it's just brilliant. 8) got to wear this cuz your brilliance is blinding me.

Edit: I just read your remark about tattoo, and BarbieQ's remark about hair, got me to thinking I once had my hair dyed red, and then bleached. It turned orange, and I received the nickname, "Carrot Top," for a while. I even had my hair cut to look more like a Mohawk, but laying down, and had two earrings in my left ear. Yeah, I was a rebel, but it was short lived. :)
