In all of these forums, personal attacks on individuals will get you bounced out on your head (or whatever...land as you wish). Remember that.

This is the tutorial section. A post here should be a practiced repeatable process that gives some particular effect or result.

Rules: (These are not optional, follow them!)

1) Images should be less than 800 pixels wide. Not everyone has a wide-screen hi-res monitor.

2) Use proper spelling and grammar. 'Chat' or 'l33t' Speak makes you sound like a nitwit, and poor spelling and grammar makes your apparent IQ 20 points lower. (Similar to the way a camera adds 20 pounds) We know you're smart! Let your writing show it!

3) Don't make your tutorial one huge image. I know this is common on some sites, but on a slow connection it can be frustrating, and there is really no need for it here

4) Make your thread titles descriptive. If you are stuck, do your best, then ask for suggestions. Your fellow forumites will gladly help you out.

Suggestions: (As in, the admins won't fuss if you ignore them, but they will help your tutorial to be better received.)

a) Try to avoid making people click on a link for every image, thumbs should be small enough to save size and bandwidth, but large enough that you can tell you are doing the steps right.

b) Number your steps, this will make it easier for people who are stuck to ask for help.

c) Make the first picture in your post be the final image. The last picture tends to load last, which can be frustrating to the bandwidth impaired.

d) Link to required plugins at the beginning of your post. Nothing is more frustrating than getting half way through a tutorial, only to have to stop and hunt down a plugin.
